Project Brief

To design a modern, welcoming website that highlights The Clifton Sausage’s seasonal menus, celebrates their locally sourced dishes and provides customers with a smooth, intuitive experience.

The Clifton Sausage is an established Bristol restaurant known for its locally sourced sausages and wider range of seasonal dishes. Their previous website didn’t fully showcase the quality of their food or the warm, relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. Our brief was to create a modern, inviting website that brings their menu and dining experience to the forefront while making it easy for customers to explore, book and engage.

We designed a clean, inviting website centred around high‑quality photography of the restaurant, bar and dishes, presented through a simple carousel feature. Online reservations and gift‑voucher purchasing were integrated to give customers everything they need at their fingertips. The result is a warm, user‑friendly site that reflects the restaurant’s character and makes discovering - and booking - a table effortless.

We were in desperate need of a new website and Clifton Web Design did a great job. The process was clear from the start and everything was delivered as promised. They had lots of good ideas for the site that I hadn’t thought of and the overall look and feel of the site is now excellent. We have seen a big increase in visitors to the website and consequently more customers – brilliant!
